Fantastic $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop Game Master's Fantasy

After a short availability back in April, this cartography software collection has returned with an encore available through early December. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the complete package is valued at over $1,300. Additionally, there exist multiple package options available here.

Primary Feature

The big draw is definitely permanent access for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard cartography program that can be used to create everything from epic fantasy landscapes, detailed regional charts, urban layouts, and most notably, tactical combat environments.

Package Levels

Entry Level

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Intermediate Package

The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting through inclusion of permanent CC3+ access, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from all sides. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.

Every volume from the Annual series come with this bundle, plus numerous other resource and asset packs enabling creators to craft complete solar systems, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, underground complexes, urban centers, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. Users can also create character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection is so worth it, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly more advantageous for map-making newbies since it includes introductory guides to facilitate learning. The sole limitation though you can redeem the deal on any platform, the applications only function on Windows.

Charitable Component

As with other Humble Bundles, part of every purchase supports charitable organizations. For this one, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide through education, health care, and emergency relief. Package customization options appear near the page top, though users may also choose their donation amount in the right-hand section. There's also an "Adjust Donation" drop-down just below that, allowing you to adjust how much of your donation allocated between the platform, developer, and charity.
