It's difficult for Australia to achieve unprecedented feats.

The top summits have already been conquered.

This is the unit that has won seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to an additional six T20 titles, and previously enjoyed 1,294 days unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, those for the peak baggers, are the only things left for a team that has accomplished all there is.

The fact it required until Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase above 300, taking back their record for the largest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, frankly, a tribute to the pitchers that have represented Australia over the last half-century.

It's challenging for their batters to possess a record if not provided the possibility.

Finally, the outcome of Australia conceding 330 was leader Alyssa Healy getting a platform to create her newest gem.

Healy's competitive nature has always been her key asset - and an invaluable trait in succeeding iconic ex-skipper Meg Lanning.

She was troubled by India's rising star Kranti Gaud in last month's ODI series, fallen to the emerging pace bowler in each encounter, but here that only provided Healy's spark.

A single came off the bowler's initial ball and from there the right-hander was on her way.

"An opportunity to play and face the challenge with her and simply enjoy myself in that regard, sort of got me going," stated Healy.

She reached fifty in 35 pitches - her swiftest at the World Cup - and her hundred in 84 as she punished short deliveries, striking 21 boundaries and three maximums.

When she was removed her side needed 66 additional runs at one run per ball - an unconquered height now needing a comfortable finish.

"Chasing 330 runs is uncharted waters so I'm happy we have the belief to accomplish that now," stated Healy further.

"Ideally we won't need to do it another time but, if we do, we are confident we can succeed."

These statements will be the final thing rival teams at this championship should hear.

During the last week a belief they will succeed regardless of circumstances has grown stronger - this success coming after victory over Pakistan by 107 runs despite struggling at 76-7 at one point.

Subsequently Australia meet Bangladesh before an encounter with old rivals England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final berth may probably be guaranteed.

It was in the semi-finals they were eliminated from last year's T20 World Cup in a surprising setback by South Africa - a game Healy missed because of damaged tissue in her foot as she captained her nation for the first time at a significant event.

So great is her will, she afterwards commented she wanted to have participated through the pain.

But while she subsequently acknowledged those fitness problems have pushed back thoughts of retirement, this World Cup is likely to be her concluding event as leader in ODI cricket and she is hasn't yet secured a global event as leader.
