The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Warriors Party

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with extensive world-building, a wide array of characters, and a thrilling plot showcasing divine entities, evil spirits, and dark forces expanding in influence within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Revealing details for the latest installment of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Combat-Oriented Party Introduced

Episode 3 concluded with a huge suspense moment and presented the first table of heroes who will split off from the main group to embark on their own adventure, apart from the additional parties.

This warrior group consists of the determined fighter (portrayed by Travis), Thimble (the talented performer), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), the cleric (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie Daymond).

Dividing the Cast

Considering a large ensemble, it was obvious from the start that keeping everyone at the same party would be unworkable.

Hence, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, connecting the personal journeys before dividing into three smaller tables: Warriors, Planners, and Questers.

What Defines the Combat Party

Per the DM, the Soldiers table is for participants who enjoy a typically action-packed battle-oriented gameplay experience where diplomatic options are few and far between.

Initially, characters like the hesitant healer the cleric might seem unsuited, but the events of the third episode make it clear why these specific adventurers are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

To begin with, the team understands precisely where to go next after a brutal initial meeting with the antagonists.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose passing started the story’s plot—used The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, invading the secret base, assaulting the rogue, and swiping all the enchanted items to sell off.

The traitor then paid off his debts and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, above the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each character has a specific drive to exit the metropolitan area:

  • Thimble, as the close ally and best friend, wants retribution.
  • The adventurer knows the northern area and advises that it is a dangerous place.
  • Tyranny and Wicander, having defied his family’s wishes to execute the fighter and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
  • Yet, their reputation as important members in the influential clan could assist the group reach locations they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, Teor vowed a eternal obligation to The cleric for his rescue and will now follow him wherever.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are wanted by the rulers that rule the city for a multiple motives, making staying in the city dangerous:

  • Thimble and The character are known criminals.
  • The strong figure and The healer turned against the powerful family and the legion of demons they are allied with.
  • The target is marked for death by the family.

This results in them few options but to head to the remote area in quest for the traitor.

What’s Next?

From episode three’s Cooldown, we learn that the combat party will be absent next week, leaving the other eight cast members to assemble the Seekers and Schemers parties.

Fans can anticipate discovering which characters will be assigned to which table in the season’s last Overture episode, released on the upcoming Thursday.
